Substitution and Cancellation Policy

A transfer of your full registration is permitted prior to the conference by submitting a written request to events@financialservices.org. Onsite transfers must be accompanied with proof of the original confirmation letter. Only one transfer is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting and reprints are strictly prohibited.

Cancellation Policy

Early Bird Registration and full refunds are available through June 30. Any cancellations received after June 30 and by September 1 will receive a refund of the full conference fee minus a $200 administrative fee. To receive a refund, a cancellation must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and submitted in writing to events@financialservices.org. No refunds will be granted for requests received after September 1. The Financial Services Institute (FSI) regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.

Health & Safety

As outlined by the CDC, “COVID-19 can affect anyone, and the disease can cause symptoms ranging from mild to very severe. We know that certain things can make people more likely to get very sick with COVID-19. We also know that certain settings and activities can make you more likely to get infected with the virus that causes COVID-19.” The safety and well-being of our staff, members, sponsors, and other partners is our top priority but FSI cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while attending an FSI event or activity. Any in-person interaction with, at, or on behalf of FSI may increase the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. By registering for and attending the event, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and its variants; the risk that you may be exposed to the virus and become infected as a result of your attendance at the event, and the risk associated with attending an in-person event such as the one or which you are registering. Additionally, by registering to attend an FSI event, you agree that you will not attend the event if you are experiencing or exhibiting any COVID-19 related symptoms as outlined by the CDC such as fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath. You further agreed that you will not attend the FSI Forum & Capitol Hill Day event if you have been recently exposed to a person with a positive and confirmed case of COVID-19.

Registration for or participation in FSI meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant/attendee to the use and distribution of the individual’s image and/or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by FSI and other third parties.

Event Cancellation Policy

FSI reserves the right to cancel an event due to any circumstances that in FSI’s sole judgement make the event non-viable. If FSI cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, FSI has the right to either issue full refunds or transfer registrations to the same event at the new, future date. Aside from the registration fee, FSI will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.

FSI Events Code of Conduct
