Ransomware attacks have been increasing in both the number of incidences and complexity over the last decade. Malicious actors ranging from individuals to organized groups, and to nation-state actors, have upped the ante, leading to an unprecedented scale of such attacks. As recent targeted attacks on government agencies and private industry exposed a larger proportion of the society to the crippling impacts of such attacks, guidance and recommendations on controls and best practices relating to protections have gained greater visibility. At Broadridge, Mark’s most recent senior position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer at Broadridge. While this role will be a member of the Technology Leadership Team, his main responsibilities are focused on bridging the gap between security/technology and sales/account management, support new sales as well as renewals and expand/enhance client relationships.
Mark graduated Summa Cum Laude from Queens College, New York in 1986 with a BA in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics.
Over thirty-five years of brokerage experience in data processing. Mark held many key roles at Automatic Data Processing between 1989 and 2007:
- Director of Systems Assurance
- Vice President of Data Center Operations
- Vice President of Technology Services
- Senior Vice President and CTO responsible for Investor Communications Infrastructure and Application development
- Senior Vice President of Systems Engineering in the ADP Corporate Engineering and Data Processing organization
Mark’s prior responsibility was the Corporate CIO for Broadridge: responsible for managing all technology infrastructure services. This includes infrastructure (data networks, voice networks, desktops, server environments, storage, monitoring, application support, service delivery, office technology), enterprise information security engineering, governance, outsource service provider management, cloud architecture and engineering, global data center operations, corporate application development, and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Badhri Parthasarathy is the Chief Security Officer at Broadridge Financial Solutions. He leads the Information Security Group and is responsible to inform and enhance the company’s ongoing Information Security Strategy, to provide leadership in regard to making informed “risk based” investment decisions, oversee planning and execution of projects enhancing information security profile, and to insure compliance with applicable policies and regulation.
Badhri joined Broadridge in 2011 to lead Technology Services Delivery for the Global Technology & Operations business segment. He led key initiatives including data center transitions, new business and client on-boarding, solution formulation, contract negotiations and establishment, services delivery governance, and managing international delivery. Prior to joining Broadridge, Badhri worked in the Biopharmaceutical industry, managing global infrastructure delivery. Badhri also held leadership roles in technology and management for a decade at IBM.
Badhri holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems from Marist College, multiple professional certifications, and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute sponsored by SIFMA and The Wharton School.
