New Tool Empowers Financial Advisors to Advocate on Industry Critical Issues on the Go

    June 11, 2012

The Financial Services Institute (FSI) today launched a smartphone/tablet mobile app to give independent financial advisors and financial services firm executives the mobility they need to speak with one voice and influence the regulatory and legislative processes on the go. This app will put all aspects of FSI’s online Advocacy Action Center at the fingertips of its members.

The FSI Advocacy App features include:

    • Instant Calls-to-Action on industry critical issues
    • Real-time news alerts
    • Current petitions relative to different states
    • Complete listing of elected officials at all levels of government
    • Complete listing of FSI’s 2012 advocacy priorities
    • Top issues affecting businesses and FSI’s involvement
    • Information on FSI’s PAC
    • Voter registration
    • Social media interaction

“We are excited to bring the first advocacy app in our industry to our members and valued sponsors,” said FSI President & CEO Dale Brown. “With the ever-increasing need to not only advocate but to do so at a moment’s notice, going mobile is critical to success. FSI has worked diligently this year to improve our members’ virtual experience through a new website homepage, a revamped Advocacy Action Center and a rapidly growing social media presence. In this crucial election year, it is critical that our members are provided the framework necessary to take meaningful action, and to take that action on the go.”

The FSI Advocacy App is available for download by pointing your mobile browser to financialservices.org/app. You may also scan this QR code now to download the app.
