Scott Curtis, President of Raymond James’ Private Client Group and former FSI Board Member, is running for the open large firm seat on FINRA’s Board of Governors, and we proudly support his candidacy.

The FINRA Board of Governors, the governing body of the corporation, oversees management in the administration of FINRA’s affairs and the promotion of FINRA’s welfare, objectives, and purposes. The election ballots for this position are due by September 6, 2023. 

About Scott Curtis 

Scott joined Raymond James in 2003, where he has held exceptional leadership positions such as President of Raymond James Financial Services and Senior VP of the Raymond James & Associates Private Client Group. His extensive experience in the financial industry encompasses wealth management, revenue growth, risk mitigation and more. 

Prior to joining Raymond James, Scott spent 13 years at GE Financial Assurance, holding several senior leadership positions such as the National Sales Director for packaged investment products and President of the retail broker-dealer.

Beyond his impressive professional accomplishments, Scott has been engaged in various community organizations. He has served on the board of FSI, the Chi Chi Rodriguez Foundation and the United Way Suncoast. In addition, he obtained an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics and English from Denison University.
