Requires the department of consumer affairs and business regulation to adopt regulations relative to anyone who owns or licenses personal information about a resident.

Michigan Noncompete Bill H.B. 4755

Establishes that an employer cannot enter into a non-compete agreement from an employee or applicant unless they provide written notice of the agreement; provide the terms of the agreement before the employee is hired; and posted the act of summary of its requirements on its website where it can be easily accessed.

New Jersey Independent Contractor Bill S.B. 3321

Eliminates the B and C factors of the ABC employment status test. In order for an individual to be classified as an independent contractor they are required to have been and will continue to be free from the employer’s control.

Oregon 529 Plans Bill S.B. 437

Establishes the Education Savings Program Fund. It also continuously appropriates funds to the State Treasurer for the purpose of making deposits related to the program.

Creates a Wisconsin Private Retirement Security Board. The board is required to establish a private retirement security plan to provide retirement benefits to residents who choose to participate in the plan.
