FSI Statement on Senate Confirmation of Scalia for Secretary of Labor
Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed Eugene Scalia to be Secretary of Labor. Below is a statement from Financial Services Institute (FSI) President & CEO Dale Brown on the confirmation:
“We applaud the U.S. Senate for confirming Eugene Scalia as Secretary of Labor. He will bring an investor-focused, measured approach to his role leading the Department of Labor, and with his experience, be able to recognize the potential for unintended consequences of rulemaking. We look forward to working with him and the Department staff.”
